1. Human societies have become more connected throughout history.

2. In ancient times, travellers, traders, priests, and pilgrims moved across long distances for knowledge, opportunities, or to escape persecution. 

   प्राचीन समय में यात्री, व्यापारी, पुजारी और तीर्थयात्री ज्ञान, अवसरों की खोज या अत्याचार से बचने के लिए लंबी दूरी तय करते थे।

 

3. These people carried goods, money, skills, ideas, and inventions to different places. 

   ये लोग विभिन्न स्थानों पर सामान, पैसे, कौशल, विचार और आविष्कार लेकर जाते थे।

 

4. Around 3000 BCE, coastal trade connected the Indus Valley Civilisation with West Asia. 

   3000 ईसा पूर्व के आसपास, तटीय व्यापार ने सिंधु घाटी सभ्यता को पश्चिम एशिया से जोड़ा।

 

5. For over a thousand years, cowries (seashells used as currency) from the Maldives were traded in China and East Africa.

6. Disease-carrying germs spread through trade routes as early as the seventh century, becoming more evident by the thirteenth century.
